Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
At Park Primary, we are committed to being an inclusive school where every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We recognise that many children may need additional support at some point in their educational journey, and we are dedicated to providing the right help at the right time to ensure all pupils can access learning.
Our approach is child-centered, meaning we tailor support to meet the individual needs of each child. We work in close partnership with parents, carers, and external agencies to create a collaborative and supportive environment that nurtures each child’s development.
To strengthen our provision, we have an appointed SEND governor who oversees our inclusive practices, as well as two dedicated SENDCOs who lead and coordinate support across the school. Emma Leather oversees SEND provision in Year 4 to Year 6 while Eleanor Parry is responsible for supporting children with SEND in Year R to Year 3.
At Park Primary, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we are committed to removing barriers to learning so that all children can thrive
