Park Primary School aims to always be a happy, friendly school where every child thrives; achieving both academically and personally.
We pride ourselves on knowing every child well so that we can nurture them and guide them carefully in their next steps of learning.
Our children are encouraged, praised and taught through our curriculum, assemblies and circle times to develop self-confidence, a sense of personal responsibility and respect for one another and their environment. We guide children to develop moral attributes of sincerity, tolerance, trust, friendship and an appreciation of diversity.
Our broad and rich curriculum is designed, within a culture of equal opportunities, to introduce children to new experiences, to develop their talents and to open their eyes to the many possibilities that life holds. Teachers plan carefully so that children have opportunities to experiment, solve problems, collaborate, discuss and to form opinions.
Our partnerships with families and the local community are valued highly because we know that when school and home work together then children are far more happy and successful. Together we hope we can provide an education which enables children to:
- Achieve to the best of their ability
- be happy, healthy, confident, independent learners
- to develop a set of values which will form a strong foundation for later life
